Sweet Rabbit was found abandoned with a rope tied around her neck and embedded deeply into her flesh. This poor dog was starving, emaciated, and terrified as we raced her to the vet. 

Rabbit was anaesthetised upon arrival enabling the vet to clean and sterilise the massive holes in her neck created by maggots and safely remove the embedded rope. Rabbit was put on strict cage rest for several weeks after surgery to allow the injuries to heal. She endured daily wound dressings with bandages wrapped around her neck without a murmur. 

Rabbit has recovered well from her trauma and grown into a beautiful strong dog full of energy and loves to run and play with the other dogs. Rabbit is eternally grateful to have a chance at a better life.
